Grape Variety: 100 % Merweh - Indigenous
The very old vines ‘’Merweh’’ planted century ago at 1100m above the sea level of St. Mikhaël Monastery Land, Bnabil (Mount Lebanon). The vineyard covers an area of 2 hectares of Clay-limestone basement soil. The Lebanese White indigenous grapes have been cultivated traditionally by the monks with no use of chemicals or fertilizers, in respect to the soil and to the environment. Preserving this heritage, ADYAR is still maintaining till now the traditional vinification method. The result is an expressive dry white wine, not filtered for a better taste of the «terroir».
