Es wird aus dem Alkohol von Obeidi- und Cinsault-Trauben hergestellt, bei optimaler Reife geerntet und mit frischem Anis gemischt. Der Arak wird in einem hundert Jahre alten Keller hergestellt, traditionell in dreistufiger Destillation in traditionellen Destillierkolben verarbeitet und 5 Jahre in alten Tongefäßen gereift.
