100% Merlot. More than 20 years old vineyards located on the slopes of Château St Thomas, on 1000m altitude, in a pebbly clay and rocky soil.
Wine making & fining:
Entire harvest cluster, controlled fermentation temperature to have a good color
extraction, light filtration. Aged 10 months in French oak barrels.
- Deep ruby dense robe.
- Berries, plums, chocolate, cinnamon, leather. Very complex nose.
- Serving temperature: 16-18° C.
- Food Affinities: Excellent with prime ribs, Chateaubriand, & all kind of cheese.
- Potential aging: 20 years & over.
