Grape varieties:
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc
Winery:
Based in the south of Lebanon (Rmeich) and run by the Makhoul family. Founded in 2017, the winery sends a strong message to people who remain on their land in an area full of conflict and war.
Winemaking:
The grapes are harvested by hand. After destemming, the grapes are crushed and then placed in tanks. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks for a period of one to three weeks at temperatures between 23 and 26 degrees, depending on the variety.
